Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Joinery Designer, a browser-based kitchen and cabinet design tool available at app.jdcollection.co.za (the "Service"), provided by JD Collection ("JD Collection", "we", "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Joinery Designer lets you lay out kitchens and cabinets in 3D. Designing is free. A paid subscription is required to export cutting lists, costing estimates and PDF shop drawings.

2. Accounts

You need a valid email address to subscribe. You're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately at jon@jdcollection.co.za if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Plans: R249/month or R2,000/year (VAT excluded), billed via our payment processor, Paystack.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• We don't store your card details — Paystack handles and secures all payment information.
• Every new subscription includes a 7-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy.
• You can cancel at any time — see our Cancellation Policy.
• We may change our prices with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. Your designs & content

You own the kitchen designs, layouts and specifications you create in the Service. We store them so you can save and reopen your projects. We don't claim ownership of your designs and won't share them with third parties except as needed to provide the Service (e.g. hosting).

5. Accuracy of outputs

Joinery Designer helps you plan, cost and generate cutting lists, but measurements, quantities and costings are estimates based on the inputs you provide. Always double-check dimensions and quantities against the actual room and materials before cutting board or placing a board-store order. JD Collection is not liable for material loss, wasted board, or costs arising from measurement or input errors.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or disrupt the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and branding are owned by JD Collection and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers that ownership to you.

8. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Service available and continually improve it, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, these Terms, or our pricing from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JD Collection's total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that breach these Terms, including non-payment. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time (see our Cancellation Policy).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
